30 Before 30 – My Bucket List

Written by Lindsay Ropella

I’ve seen some people sharing their bucket lists on their blog lately and I always love reading through them to see what they want to accomplish. Well, I actually have a list of my own saved on my computer so I thought it would be fun to share today. Some of these are things that are more immediate “to-dos”, and some are wishes for the future – but they are all things that I would like to accomplish by the time I turn 30. I have a little over 5 years left to complete these so I better get busy!

30before30

30 Before 30

    • Get a new vehicle

    • Take a vacation to Florida and go to Disney-world with Eric

    • Replace the flooring in the house

    • Establish a set “date night” and go religiously (working on it)

    • Read through the entire bible in order of books (working on it)

    • Take a road trip

    • Make a list of “must read books” and read them all!

    • Splurge on something unnecessary with Eric – and enjoy it!

    • Pull an all nighter with the family and sleep in late the next day

    • De-clutter the house – every nook and cranny (almost done!)

    • Learn how to play an instrument

    • Go to Vegas and go to a show

    • Complete an online html coding class (working on it)

    • Get back to goal weight (working on it)

    • Finish the basement and make Eric a “mancave”

    • Purchase a DSLR camera and learn how to use it

    • Switch all our cleaning supplies over to non-toxic versions

    • Go to New York City (where Eric’s always wanted to go)

    • Pay off student loans

    • Have a 6-month emergency fund in addition to our “active savings”

    • Update all the old posts on my blog (working on it)

    • Host a big party at our small house (will take some skill)

    • Completely cut out gluten from my diet

    • Pay for someone else’s meal/coffee/movie

    • Create and stick to a work out schedule (working on it)

    • Run in a color run

    • Volunteer somewhere either at church or in our community

    • Cook something that takes more than one day

    • Take at least 2 photos a month of our family (not blog related)

    • Have someone to call me “mama”

What’s something that’s on your “bucket list?”

I am currently working on my list! but it wont be 30 since I’ll turn 30 in less than 6 months! i wish most of my host was decluttered! and a date night – regularly – we need to do that too even if it’s at home!

Nice! LOl yea 30 things might be a bit ambitious. :) I figure I have the best shot at getting the house decluttered now when it’s just two adults. Hopefully it will stay that way but I’m not at all convinced that will be the case :)
